This is a rare Chanel vintage large pearl necklace that has a pearlized Gripoix glass flower. The pendant can be removed and worn as a pin. We took it to Chanel repair because the necklace is marked “France” and we wanted to confirm that it was indeed Chanel and it was in good condition. After the oohs and aahs verified that it’s a very old Chanel piece, they explained that the one pearl I was concerned about should remain untouched. She explained it should be left alone because we won’t ever see another piece like this in our lifetime. The necklace measures 18” and the pendant/pin is 2”. This is a must for the serious collector.
